Tahitian Pearls: The gift you should get when travel to Bora Bora for your vacation or honeymoon.

Bora Bora, what a wonderful place for a romantic vacation. All those pictures from travel websites, catalogues and postcards are real! My newly husband and I have been there for our honeymoon, we did enjoy our trip, relaxing on the warm sandy beach, watching sea turtle swimming in a crystal clear water lagoon. Our overwater bungalow located in a five-star hotel on Bora Bora was so authentic that nothing comes close to that kind of accommodation. Exit those Las Vegas concrete buildings, hotels and crowd; we want to be alone for a romantic vacation.
Before we leave for New York, I wanted to bring back a Tahitian pearl as seen on many fashion models, actresses and other celebrities. So my Fiancé told me to choose some Black Pearls.
I was thrilling just thinking about having one. Their colors are magnificent and lustre is so shiny that you can see your own reflections on the surface.
I've already bought a Diamond ring in the past and was thinking that there must be a similar grading for Tahitian pearls thus with a little of knowledge, we won't bring back a pearl that was over valued. While back to our hotel, we search on the internet for "Tahitian pearl grading" and found an excellent information site about Tahitian Pearls.
We finally got some basic information and ready to visit several Tahitian pearl shops located in most hotels and near the harbor called "Vaitape".
After half a day comparing Tahitian pearl necklaces, my Fiancé and I finally decided to buy not one but two jewels for my honeymoon gift, a Tahitian pearl choker strand and a beautiful ring with a 14mm round shape. Colors have green and pink hues. They are just unique to my eyes. We also bought smaller size of loose pearls for friends and family.
Back to New York, we offer some lose black pearls for our relatives, and they were so happy that they ask to pay back for it but as gifts are, your joy is to give not to be paid.
The most exciting thing is that everywhere I go out for dinner. I wear those beautiful jewels, and each time people tell me what a wonderful necklace or ask where I got these gorgeous pearls, and it recalls my best memories in Bora Bora.
So, next time you travel to Bora Bora or French Polynesia, you can miss buying local handmade sarongs, wood crafts and other exotic souvenirs but never forget to purchase your Tahitian pearls for an unforgettable honeymoon or vacation.
